Anchor: Just as leaders of the Group of 20 did earlier this week, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum adopted a declaration strongly denouncing terrorism. The declaration also included most of the growth proposals suggested by President Park Geun-hye, such as the globalization of small and medium firms and boosting the service industry.

Report: The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, summit ended on Thursday after reaffirming international cooperation against terrorism.
In a declaration issued at the end of the forum, the leaders denounced all forms of terrorism and vowed to strengthen global cooperation to fight terror.
During the meeting, President Park Geun-hye stressed that members of the regional bloc should support small and medium companies, which account for 97 percent of the enterprises in the region, so that they may create entrepreneurial value.
She also introduced South Korea's deregulation efforts in the service industry, particularly in healthcare and tourism, proposing that members boost their competitiveness in the sector.
She said South Korea will help enhance the negotiation capacity of developing countries in forming free trade agreements and contribute to establishing a free trade zone in the Asia-Pacific region.
Meanwhile, APEC members decided to hold the annual summit in South Korea in 2025. It will be the second time the nation has hosted the forum after the 2005 summit in Busan.
On Friday, Park arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she will attend various multilateral talks.
For two days starting from Saturday, Park will attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Plus Three meeting, which includes South Korea, China and Japan, followed by her attendance at the East Asia Summit.
